LAST WEEK TO PURCHASE GRADUATION PHOTOS-DEADLINE IS FRIDAY, JUNE 21st! From Casey Oliver Photography: This is a link to all the photos that I took at the Burkburnett Commencement Ceremony on May 31st. Since there are a large amount of photos – I broke it up into Categories for easier viewing. To view the images - open the gallery and if you will look to the top left and you will see 4 tabs: Highlights - contains the Class Photo of them throwing their hats Processional - this folder contains the entrance of graduates and some candids before the graduation started Ceremony, Color Guard, Speeches, Choir/Band, Scholarships - this folder contains photos of all that is listed as well as candids of some of the graduates. Receiving Diploma - this folder contains each student receiving their diploma Exit - this folder contains their exit (with a big ole smile on their face!) They are all in order as the evening occurred. If you would like to purchase a package/photo – all you have to do is click on the photo of your child and click the shopping cart on the upper right. It will take you into the store for you to select either a package or individual print sizes. All of the "Receiving Diploma" photos come with a customized border (see sample photo in the Highlights tab). If you have any questions or need any assistance – please don't hesitate to reach out to me. I am asking that everyone please order by the deadline of Friday, June 21st for ordering. After that date I will place one large order and when they come back in I will mail each person's order using the info provided with the order. I always enjoy celebrating alongside you! Burkburnett ISD is thrilled to welcome Rick Gates as our new Head Girls Basketball Coach! Coach Gates joins us from Burnet High School, where he led the Lady Bulldogs to remarkable successes, including the State Semi-Finals and Regional Finals during his impressive 7-year tenure. Coach Gates is not only a proven winner on the court but also a dedicated family man. He is married to Betty Jo Gates, and together they have three wonderful children: Grace, a student at the University of Texas; Ryan, a junior; and Eli, a 8th grader. We are confident that Coach Gates will bring his winning spirit and dedication to our Lady Bulldogs, and we can't wait to see the incredible achievements our team will accomplish under his leadership. Due to the weather forecast for this week, we will be moving graduation. Our BHS Graduation will now take place at the Kay Yeager Coliseum and Multi-Purpose Events Center in Wichita Falls located at 1000 5th St. Graduation will still be this Friday, but THERE WILL BE A NEW TIME. GRADUATION WILL NOW START AT 7:00 PM. There will be no restrictions on how many family members can attend. So again, Graduation will be held Friday, May 31st at 7:00 PM at the Kay Yeager Coliseum in Wichita Falls. Senior students must report no later than 6:00 PM. The high school will send out more info to senior students and parents throughout the week.

Unfortunately, there has been a delay in Balfour's print and production schedule, which has impacted the timeline for our yearbook delivery. As a result, we now anticipate that the yearbooks will be shipped out on June 19 and are expected to reach us by June 26. To ensure that students who have already purchased a yearbook have the opportunity to collect autographs from their peers before the end of the school year, we have ordered autograph inserts that are scheduled to arrive before the school year concludes. These inserts can be added to the yearbooks once they arrive, allowing students the chance to personalize their yearbooks with special messages from friends and classmates. For those who have not yet ordered, you may still purchase a yearbook at this time. They are $80, and you can pay with cash or a check made out to BHS Yearbook. Everyone will have a chance to pick up their books this summer or at the start of school if you are unable to attend the distribution day in July. Thank you! Kayci Methvin
