School's out and summer is officially here! After a fantastic year of learning and growing, it's time for our students, teachers, and staff to enjoy a well-deserved break. Whether you're heading to the beach, exploring new hobbies, or just relaxing at home, we hope your summer is filled with fun, adventure, and lots of sunshine.


Kindergarten students have been enjoying their ABC Countdown to 1st Grade! 🎉 Today on the ABC Countdown was letter W-Workout Day! ☀️ Kindergarten student's enjoyed working out in the classroom, racing outside and playing tug of war against teachers and friends! We have 2 more days of the ABC Countdown until they get to letter Z-Zoom on to 1st Grade! 🎓











No school on Memorial Day, May 27th. Let's take a moment to remember and honor the brave men and women who have sacrificed their lives for our country. Enjoy the day with family and friends, and reflect on the true meaning of this important holiday.


Gaga Ball is such a wonderful game of honesty and integrity! These third graders had a blast playing it today!


The Tower Treble Clefs Honor Choir competed in the NR H2O Music competition, led by the talented Brenda Richison, where they received Superior ratings in the gift of music.

As a way to continue to provide opportunities for our community to provide feedback to our school district and superintendent, we will be hosting periodic town hall meetings through Facebook Live. The Tower Talent Show will be held on Tuesday, May 28 at 9:30am and 2:00pm. Students in grades 1-5 will perform showcasing their talents. The Creative Team comprised of students 3rd-5th grade will direct the sound, lights, and stage. You will not want to miss "The Greatest Show."

How lucky are WE to have Sheppard AFB and their families here in Wichita Falls and to be part of the John G. Tower Elementary FAMILY! They are givers to the community! Know pickleball? Know FUN!!
We have had a blast in PE this week and will continue into next week. learning the basics of pickleball! The students are all smiles!






The Tower Treble Clefs Honor Choir will be performing their End of Year Concert on Thursday, May 16 at 6:30pm in the Tower Cafeteria. Please join the students as they "Make Their Mark on the Journey of Music."

We need to send a big THANK YOU to TSgt Burrola of 362nd squadron at Sheppard AFB for taking our Braveheart Club on an amazing tour around some planes and hangars. What a blast! To top it off, he gave each Braveheart their own purple dog tag with their name engraved on it!
