We love seeing this! It says so much about our SRO that students were excited to save up their Bark points just for a chance to spend time with him. Thank you so much Lieutenant Deason for being awesome!

BEST SCHOOL EVER!
Our Assistant Principal, Mrs. Gates, organized a fun Thanksgiving "team building" activity for the teachers today. It was called, "Turkey in My Pocket!" Not only did the teachers get in on the fun, the students cheered the teachers on in their "hunt" for the turkeys! It was a super fun day! Here are the winners of the "Turkey in My Pocket" competition!

Drama Club was hard at work practicing for their upcoming play, “Elfis and the Sleigh Riders.” No one gets along all the time, not even Santa’s elves! Thankfully, Elfis is able to help everyone at the North Pole learn the value of true friendship. You can catch their play at the Annual John Tower Christmas Program, Dec. 19 at 9 am. Thank you Mrs. Vivio, Mrs. Spring and Mrs. Larsen for leading the Drama Club!

The smiles and joy of the students as they are donating to the Faith Mission box is a beautiful thing to witness!

We are very grateful for Ms. Flint and our Tower Cafeteria Staff who did an amazing job feeding so many today at our Tower Thanksgiving Feast! Thank you for all of your very hard work! It is noticed and appreciated!

S2S Club members learned flag folding today and also learned the "ins and outs" of our school so that they can properly take new families on tours!

We invite all Tower Families to participate in this worthwhile service project, brought to you by the S2S club!

These fine John Tower students (who are ALL smiles)cashed in their dojo points to help Officer Deason this afternoon and be his assistants!

5th Graders Nemo and Julian cashed in their dojo points and chose to be Mrs. Cluley's PE helper!

Tower Unified athletes and buddies bonded this morning with our new equipment, courtesy of Special Olympics Texas!

Trenton earned enough Bark Points to be the office helper on this very busy Friday morning. He helped sign visitors into the building, assisted with mail distribution, ran copies, and made sure our administrators received important messages.
Thank you, Trenton, for all your hard work. You were a huge help today!

John Tower Elementary is very fortunate to serve many military families. We consider it an honor and a privilege. Today, under the direction of our amazing music teacher Mrs. Jill Vivio, our students honored our veterans in patriotic songs. The children's happy voices brought joy and honor to our Veterans, and made our families proud!
"A Veteran is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check, made payable to the 'United States of America,' for an amount up to and including their life." - author unknown

Anticipation is running high for the Veterans Day program next Monday! Mrs. Spring and her art students prepared a most beautiful and appropriate display in the hallway. Be sure to check it out as you walk to the cafeteria on Monday! Thank you, Mrs. Vivio for all of your very hard work!

Round #2 of Movement with Moms brought more happy smiles!
