Tower student Harley demonstrated all of this at Saturday's 1 Mile run! One of the students fell down as we were beginning the race. Harley turned BACK to go to care for the student, to make sure the student was ok! Harley then continued on to the finish line towards the front, and then went BACK to run with others to encourage them to make it to the finish line! Harley, we are proud that you are a Burkburnett Bulldog!

Just TWO weeks from today is our Golden Shoe Day! We look forward to seeing all of you during your child's PE time at this wonderful family event!
Free & Reduced Meal Applications for the 2026–2027 school year are due Wednesday, September 23.
The district will be completing a system rollover. Students who received free or reduced-price meals last year but do not have an approved application for the 2026–2027 school year will be moved to the paid meal status and charged accordingly.
This applies only to families who have not yet completed an application for the 2026–2027 school year.

Congratulations to John G. Tower Elementary on earning the Texas Education Agency’s Purple Star Campus Designation!
This designation recognizes campuses committed to supporting the unique needs of military-connected students and their families. Tower Elementary met rigorous criteria, including providing a military liaison, transition support, accessible resources, and initiatives that strengthen connections with military families.
Principal Heather Whited stated, “We are incredibly honored that our school has been officially designated as a Purple Star Campus. This distinction reflects our deep, unwavering commitment to supporting our military-connected students and families as they navigate the unique challenges of military life. Thank you to our amazing staff, community, and military families for making our school a welcoming, supportive place where every hero’s child can thrive!”
