BIG shout out to Mrs. Molly Lott, who created a wonderful hallway display to encourage our students to do their very best on STAAR testing! Mrs. Lott invited all staff to create Bitmoji characters of themselves, along with speech bubbles to encourage the 3rd-5th students! Mrs. Lott was here at school for a good bit of the weekend putting up the bitmojis that the teachers created. Here are a few of the incredibly creative and encouraging bitmojis for your enjoyment! Thank you Tower Staff for taking your time to create these for our students! Mrs. Lott, you ROCK!

Burkburnett ISD Bond FAQs

Q: Can I vote on both propositions separately?
A: Yes. Voters should record their vote in each of the propositions on the ballot. Click the
link to the Bond Propositions page. https://www.burkburnettisd.org/o/bisd/page/2026-bond-propositions

Proposition A focuses on upgrading facilities across Burkburnett ISD. The proposition includes career and technical education with a complete CTE wing renovation at the high school, upgrades safety through new fire alarm and camera systems district-wide, and improves student spaces with auditorium upgrades, restroom renovations, playground shade structures, and locker room improvements. Additional funds would support parking lot enhancements, physical education facilities, and new transportation vehicles.

Proposition B proposes a new Multi-Purpose Indoor Activity Center at the north end of the football stadium. This climate-controlled facility would provide year-round training space for band, athletics, ROTC, and our elementary schools. The project also includes a new girls' soccer locker room.

Congratulations to these fourth graders, who won a Fitbit Charge 5 this morning! Fourth grade students were offered the opportunity to answer questions like, "Why is it important to be physically fit in the fourth grade?" And "Do I monitor my screen time? Could I do better?" All entries were put into a box for a random drawing this morning over the morning announcements! Again, congratulations to the winners!
