ALWAYS. For our students!
4th grade teachers ROCK! Read on! Which one is YOUR favorite?!
Bulldog Hallway Heroes: A Surprise Boost for Our Students!
If the hallways felt a little brighter this week, you weren't imagining it! 4th graders were in for an extra special treat this week. Their teachers had been working hard behind the scenes to level up their wing with some added love and motivation. Our students walked into a huge surprise as colorful, motivational posters appeared overnight, turning our hallway into a massive "cheering section."
From big reminders of "Leave no Crumbs..." to simple notes like "We Believe in You," the decor is already a huge hit. It’s been great seeing students stop pausing to read a quote before heading into class.
Tackling I-Ready Diagnostics
The timing for these posters couldn't be better. This week, our Bulldogs are tackling their End of Year I-Ready Diagnostics. These posters are here to remind every student that all the hard work they’ve put in since August has prepared them for this moment.
Why we’re doing this:
A Confidence Boost: A little positivity goes a long way in shaking off those testing jitters.
Celebrating Growth: This isn't just about a score; it’s about seeing how much every student has improved this year.
Bulldog Pride: It’s a reminder that we’re all one big team!
Take a deep breath, Bulldogs. Look around at those posters, remember how much you’ve learned, and just do your best. We are already so proud of you!
🐾🧡🖤🐾 Go Bulldogs! 🐾🧡🖤🐾

We sincerely thank Wichita Falls Mayor Tim Short for coming to day 2 of our Tower Bike Road-eo! A big thank you goes to Ashley Sisk, Bike Friendly, Wichita Falls coordinator, and Tish Beaver, TXDOT, for teaching our students WHY it is important to always wear a helmet! The students also learned hand signals for their safety, and the importance of wearing brightly colored clothing in order for them to be seen while on their bicycles! Oh, the smiles!! Enjoy the photos!

Today we celebrate the incredible care, compassion, and dedication our school nurses bring to our Burkburnett ISD campuses every single day.

Dr. Owen will be LIVE on our Burkburnett ISD Facebook page Monday, May 11th at 12:20 PM. If you have questions for Dr. Owen, please ask them here in the comment section below in advance, and he will address them live. Please keep all questions focused on policies, processes, or facilities at the district or campus level. Dr. Owen will not be answering any questions about specific personnel or student situations.
Dr. Owen will give a district update and then answer your submitted questions, and will end the Bulldog Huddle with a live Q & A that will allow you to ask questions in real-time.
Please note the daytime scheduling: Dr. Owen is filming during school hours so that our video students can benefit from this hands-on learning experience. If you can't watch live, you can always catch the replay. We hope you will take the time to join us!

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!
This week, we celebrate the incredible BISD educators who inspire and make a lasting impact on our Bulldogs.
Thank you for shaping futures, encouraging growth, and making a difference in every classroom. We are grateful for all you do!

BISD and the Board of Trustees would like to say a big THANK YOU to our community and to our supporters who live outside of Burkburnett for voting to pass our bond propositions. In order for school districts to thrive and provide kids with the best educational experiences possible, you have to have a community that buys in and shows up when needed. Great schools don’t exist without a great community. We are blessed to have that here in Burkburnett in a big way!
Thank you to our community group who worked hard to determine the projects to be included in the bond. And thank you to Josh Andrajack and all his personal efforts on the bond.
Our kids will benefit from this bond election in many ways for years to come. In turn, those same students will benefit the community of Burkburnett when they graduate.
Again, from all of us in BISD and from the School Board, we say THANK YOU!!

Look at the EXCELLENCE at our school!! So proud of each of you for going above and beyond to ensure that your students receive the best instruction possible!!!
BISD celebrated teachers designated to receive the Texas Education Agency’s Teacher Incentive Allotment. This is an incredible accomplishment for our staff and the district!
The TIA process is an extensive, ongoing effort that rewards teacher excellence. Our district administrators at all levels have worked closely with TEA to ensure our teachers have the opportunity to earn this designation.
Congratulations to our recipients!

Mrs. Whited, we honor you on this day, "Principals Appreciation Day!" You are EVERYTHING we could ever want in a principal here at Tower! You are loving, and you always put others before yourself! You are a true servant, wanting what is best for our Tower students! You make us want to be better: students and teachers alike! You lead by example: giving John Tower Elementary your very best, working all hours of the day and night in service of our students. We love you and very sincerely THANK you in every way!

The joy of giving (to our local Faith Mission, homeless shelter)! Love their smiles!

BIG congratulations to the winner of the Tower step challenge for the month of April: Ashley Cardwell with 417,000 steps!! Second place is Kamren Leon with a total of 401,000 steps! How wonderful to set such a beautiful example to our students and staff!

Check out some of our awesome 1st graders with their sentence writing and self-portraits! Each month, students will draw a picture of themselves along with sentence writing. Teachers have them displayed outside of their classrooms. It is so much fun to see their progress throughout the school year working on writing conventions and drawings!

The cutest Kindergarten students jumped, sang and laughed as their colorful ribbon wands filled the air at Family Night in the Park last night!

Don’t forget to check out some artwork from a few of our very own Tower Elementary kids while you are at Family Night in the Park tonight! Displays will be up at the community center until 7pm. Thank you very much Mrs. Spring for all of your very hard work for the benefit of our students!

Family Night in the Park is TONIGHT! Don't miss the fun, food, and entertainment. We will see you there!

Today we celebrate our Burkburnett ISD administrative professionals! Thank you for all you do.
