ππ Congratulations to Andrew Myers and Mitchell Roberts! π π
We are incredibly proud to announce that Andrew Myers and Mitchell Roberts are among the elite group of just 11 students from around the world selected to participate in the Frances Hesselbein Student Leadership Program (FHSLP). Currently, Myers is attending the fall session at the United States Military Academy at West Point, while Roberts will continue this remarkable journey at the United States Air Force Academy in the spring.
The FHSLP, established in 2007 by the Military Child Education Coalition (MCEC) under Frances Hesselbein's guidance, provides outstanding Student 2 Student (S2S) leaders with leadership development, civic engagement, and community involvement opportunities to prepare them for the future. The program is highly competitive, requiring a rigorous selection process involving an application, S2S advisor recommendation, and interview.
Held twice a year at West Point and the Air Force Academy, the FHSLP is uniquely crafted in collaboration with academy teams and MCEC staff, aligning with the S2S mission and core values. Myers is currently participating in a week of activities at West Point focused on leadership principles, goal setting, team building, and service to othersβequipping him with skills to make a difference now and in the future. Roberts will take on a similar journey in the spring, learning and growing at the Air Force Academy.
We couldnβt be more proud of Andrew and Mitchell for representing us on such a prestigious stage. Congratulations, and best of luck as you bring all you learn back to inspire your community!
