We had a blast at our first Braveheart Club yesterday morning. We welcomed new faces and had some returning members. Our Bravehearts placed where they think their parent is on our map and had craft time together. They were able to take a wooden figure and dress and decorate them to resemble their parent. Thank you to our parents who donated yarn and fabric, and TSgt Burrola for hanging out with us today.

The Golden Shoe is two weeks from today! We hope to see you all!

Hey Bulldog fam! 🐶🧡🖤
Guess who we caught being awesome? Our very own Dr. Owen!
He was out there helping a student in need like it was no big deal. But we see you, Dr. O! That's the Bulldog Way in action, folks.
And get this - every single Friday, rain or shine, Dr. Owen's rocking our orange and black. Talk about school spirit!
He's not just talking about being a Bulldog, he's living it. Showing kindness, being there for others, and bleeding orange and black - that's what we're all about!
Dr. Owen, you're crushing it! Thanks for showing us all how it's done.
Who else is feeling that Bulldog pride right now? 💪🎉

Good evening Parents!
If you have a child that is in second through fifth grade they are invited to apply for the afterschool STEM Club coached by Mrs. Blue in the PLTW/STEM classroom. This is an additional club outside the normal STEM class content. If your child is interested they are to complete a STEM Club application. All applications are due by next Friday, September 20, 2024. No late applications will be accepted.
These applications should come home today. Please note there is a page for students to complete. This page should be completed by the student. You may assist your child by helping them to understand the questions, but I would really prefer the students to do this on their own. Thank you so much for all your support.
If you want to stay up to date on STEM classroom happenings please add/ see our additional Facebook Page: Tower STEM Class
I will be posting a lot of awesome classroom pictures very shortly!
Very Respectfully,
Mrs. Blue
PLTW/ STEM Teacher

Great News: At last night's School Board meeting, the Board of Trustees voted to approve the refunding of the remaining bond balance from the bond the community approved in 2015. This basically means the district was able to refinance the remaining bond debt at a lower interest rate without extending the length of the note. This action, along with early principal payments the district has been able to make, saves our taxpayers around $6 million dollars in bond debt payments!
