BISD would like to make sure everyone knows about the Yellow-Rose Sertoma Club's Project Back to School event to be held on July 27 at Overton Ray from 9-11 am. Eligible students Head Start - 12th grade can receive free school supplies, backpacks, vaccinations, games, and more. Make sure you check out the flyer here and complete the registration form. Bulldog Biker Gang Summer Camp June 25-29th Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30-7:30 pm and Saturday at 8:30-9:30 am in the Bulldog Stadium parking lot, 801 Coulter Dr, Burkburnett, TX 76354. There will be more group rides over the summer to prepare riders for the HHH races. Please follow us on Facebook for later dates and times. Riders must have their own two-wheeled bike, personal helmet, and a bright shirt that they will bring to camp. Riders must wear bright clothing to be seen on the road. Bikes must be checked for fit by the coaches before the parent or guardian leaves. Rider's seats should be high enough for the rider to be on their tippy toes. This camp will teach safe street riding skills, bike handling skills, maintenance, and train for the HHH 10k or 25 mile. Riders will receive a bright training jersey, water bottle, drawstring bag, and a free ticket to ride in the HHH 10k race with an adult registration. The drawstring bag is for our riders to carry their water bottle. Many child size bikes are too small to attach a water bottle cage. The camp fee is $15.
