There will be no school Friday, March 29th and Monday, April 1st. These days are designated as bad weather make-up days on the school calendar. Join us Wednesday, March 27th at the Burkburnett High School track for the Unified Track Meet. Opening ceremonies will start at 9:30 am and events will follow at 10 am. All Unified track teams from each school at Burkburnett ISD will be participating.

Please keep all questions focused on policies, processes, or facilities at the district or campus level. Dr. Owen will not be answering any questions about specific personnel or student situations. Dr. Owen will give a district update and then answer your submitted questions. Dr. Owen will end the town hall with a live Q & A that will allow you to ask questions in real-time. This Thursday, Feb. 8th, all students will have early release at 12:00. We are hosting both elementary and middle school UIL in Burkburnett ISD.
Burkburnett ISD wants to recognize and celebrate all of our amazing counselors. Our counselors are tasked with doing more than they ever have before. Please join BISD in celebrating our amazing School Board. We will recognize them tonight at our regular Board meeting at 7:00 pm. Collectively, our Board has 70 years of combined service to BISD and the Community of Burkburnett. Five of our Board members have gone above and beyond and have completed the training required to become a Master Trustee.
Being a School Board member is oftentimes a thankless position, but we truly value the dedication and commitment our Board has shown over the years. They are Bulldogs through and through and exemplify The Bulldog Way! BISD has received the highest rating a school district can get through the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas, scoring a perfect score of 100!!

BHS National Honor Society students volunteered at Evan’s book fair on Monday! Thank you to these amazing high schoolers for their time. They were so respectful, professional, and kind. And helped us out while teachers were in conferences!
There has been a slight change in the theme for Friday Night Football. This Friday will be PINK OUT instead of Neon. Here is the updated schedule for the rest of the season. We would love for ALL schools, students, parents, grandparents, community members, business owners, EVERYONE to participate.
