Student 2 Student Club

If you have a student who will be attending Burkburnett High School, we would love to assist you!

All Burkburnett ISD Schools have S2S Clubs who welcome incoming military-connected (active duty, reverse, retired, veterans) students.

Moving to a new school, (especially during your high school years), can be stressfull for teens. Feelings of discontent, loneliness, and anxiety can play a big role in their lives. Students of this age often worry about who they will sit with at lunch, will they make the new team, will they have friends, and they often feel sad from having to leave their friends behind.

Although all students do not experience these feelings, we are here to help prevent these feelings by offering an S2S pal to help ease the transition.

When you let us know you will be moving to SAFB, we will select an S2S student who has similar interests as your child, to reach out to them and introduce themselves. They will tell your students about fun things to do in our area, answer any questions they may have, and introduce them to other friends.

When you arrive, the S2S student will meet with your student and give them a tour of the campus.

Our S2S Club has a Summer Leadership team that offers a few socials during the summer-time to help your student get to know a few friends before school begins.
